Came back from Hongkong yesterday.Super tired cos we didn't get enough sleep for the 4 nights we spend at HKG.
Had lots of fun starting from the 1st day we touched down. By the time we reach hotel it was already 4pm. We took a train to Jordon Station, walked and shopped all the way from temple street to Ladies' Market. In between we had a sumptous dinner at a little shop that had 4 different types of meat and 3 dishes which cost one person about 10sgd. By the time we reach hotel was already 11pm shag and tired after shopping.
Our 2nd day to ShenZhen. Had morning breakfast at a little shop on our way to the train station from our hotel. Not many things cos we dunno where to go so we just shop at a shopping centre nearby didn't get alot of things but Winston was a really at bargaining. We did Manicure and Pedicure for only 10sgd per person. Then we went back to Tsim Sha Tsui area took a cab and went adidas outlet. Nothing there and everyone was disappointed. Then we took a cab to Esprit outlet to shop. Nothing very much also. So we decided to take a little walk and have dinner before going to Avenue of Stars. Then someone stopped us and ask if we wanted a massage. Even massage we also wanna bargain over the price. Sandy, Winston and I had a 30mins foot massage and 30mins body massage. Wenqi had a 1 hour body massage and he fell asleep. We went on to the Avenue of Stars where Stars like Jet Li, Andy Lau, Cheng Long had their had prints and signatures on the ground. The night over the sea was superb and beautiful.
Our 3rd day in the morning had dim sum at a restaurant nearby recommended by the hotel staff. Ordered alot alot of dim sum and the bill totalled up to be about 30SGD.We headed to Wong Tai Sin Temple by train. Very hot weather, we went pray, ask for lots and even had palm reading. We went on the Central Station to meet Stephaine and Micheal but they couldn't meet us on time so we decided to walk around the area while waiting for her. We happen to see a market like shopping area but the prices were higher than those at Ladies' Market and we difficult to have prices slashed. Had a break at Mac, coincidentaly saw Micheal and Stephaine and had a little lunch at Mac before we proceed to The Peak. The queue for Peak Tram was terrible cos it was so long. We saw this package with entry tickets to Madam Tussuads that cost us about 25sgd including tickets for the tram and we need not queue so all of us bought the tickets. The view was beautiful at The Peak especially at night after taking photos we went to Madam Tussuads where there wax figurines of Bruce Lee, Andy Lau, Eddie Murphy, Ayumi, Beckham, Lee Kuan Yew were made. Oh My! All of them look real especially their eyes they seem to be looking at you when u look into their eyes. We took a tram back then we wanted to have seafood so we hailed a cab and asked the cab driver. Some how we got cheated by the cab driver. The fare came up to 130HKD (about 26SGD) per cab to Lei Yue Man. The driver told us it was a place to have seafood and it's near Mongkok and it doesn't close so early. Everyone was walking out when we walked in and almost all the shops closed and we were afraid they will try to increase the price of the seafood so we decided not to have it and left the place. I took out my map and saw that we were in fact so far far away from Mongkok. We walked all the way to the train station and made a big round to the station even. Back to Mongkok had the famour Xu Liu Shan mango desserts. Then Winston saw this restaurants that has seafood steamboat and cost only 12HKG per plate of ingredients ordered. We paid only 15SGD for one person after having big plates of prawns, crabs, veggie, beef, chicken, ostrich meat and so on and we ate till 2am in the morning.
We met in the morning at 10am for Ocean Park. All of us look so tired and shag cos we slept really late the precious night after the steamboat. Had breakfast and we met stephaine about 1130am at Admiralty Station to take a bus to Ocean Park. The tickets cost less than 40SGD per person. There were many many people cos it was the holidays and was a sunday. We had to queue for the rides under the hot sun with everyone perspiring. We watched the Dolphin show at 330pm. After that we took a very scary ride, only me, Qi and Micheal took this ride. The Abyss, that brings u 20 storey high up and fall at fast speed and bring u up and down again for 1 minute. To me the scariest part is to bring me up 20 storey with my legs danggling in the air and the exciting part is to fall from such a high level. next was a Coaster ride. Not very interesting maybe becos it was too slow compared to the 1st coaster ride we had. We went to play those games and each of us won soft toys back. Luckiest was stephaine when Micheal threw the ball and it landed on the hole with big prize and she carried a big big crab back.We queued for the Cable and on the way down it was really steep. We head back to the train station on the bus and took a train back to Mongkok and had Macdonalds before going to Ladies' Market again. Actually planned to go Casino after that in the end they decided to play dice games back in hotel and loser drink. By the time we get back to hotel already 1 am. We started playing the guessing numbers of dice, loser drink and Winston drank alot at 1st but he was still ok. Sandy, the girl who drinks the least laid down on the bed 1st. Had lot os fun that night till 4 5 am in the morning then sleep.
Woke up at 12pm the next day and checked out at 1pm then we went to have dim sum we had on the 3rd day tis time we ordered some noodles and 'lobster-crab like' prawns to try it was good and this time the biil came up to be abt 60SGD. Then we seperated our ways. I took a cab to Tsim Sha Tsui cos I need to buy things from Hard Rock and Sandy went to Mongkok Esprit. Bought polo tee and tshirts for my brothers, Qi saw one tshirt he really liked but don't have his size so he didn't buy. Took a train back to Mongkok and we met at Lao Po Bing shop at ard 415pm and it started to rain like cats and dogs. Lucky we managed to get a cab with the big bags all of us had went back hotel to claim baggage and wait for bus pick us up. SAD! everybody don't wanna go back Singapore.
I enjoyed myself very much this trip with Qi, Sandy, Winston, Stephaine and Micheal even though Steph and Micheal only joined us for 2 days. I hope there will be a next time.
